It seems the problem with my map command is my TagIterator (sonuva...). I've spent a few minutes to debug the damned thing and the only problem that causes it to crash is if a '<' is on the same line as a tag, something like:
<BR> <A href ="">
Are we supposed to handle this situation for TagIterator? I can't remember, and it's the only thing stopping my 'map' command, save for the actual outputting.
If everything's all neat and ordered then there shouldn't be a problem. In the meantime, it's another thing tacked on to my 'to-do' list... *grumble*

I have the same problem with my TagIterator. Plus another one. Probably the easiest methods around hasNext() don't work for either my Link or Tag Iterator and I really NEED them to. This is what I'm currently trying to fix. When I do hasNext() it moves my place in the file along like next() would do.

I couldn't get my A2 to handle a tag that is spanned over several lines. Do we still need to handle that for THIS project?? Or will all input be single lines?
If its needed, can someone pls explain how to get a tag that is spanned over several lines without return characters?
Thanx

Quote from Paul Gries' reply to my email:
Nope! We may have many tags on a line, just like in A2. I'm guessing your TagIterator is the problem. Do you remember to update variable "line" after you get the first tag on a line?
