for part one of the assignment, we just hafta put comments? and that's it?., wut's this aobut it being able to compile., ?., do they mean if the line previous to the comment is compilable ?. or do they mean the whole thing?

i) yes... just comment... but follow the way they want the comment done... pretty strict about it
ii) they refer to the one line... you compile the whole program, but you're supposed to figure out if it screws up or not at the line you're checking... if so, indicate whether in run time or compile time, and all the rules... (see above about rules)
iii) if that one line doesn't compile, then the whole thing doesn't compile anyway (even if you tried, it won't cuz of the numbers at the start indicating what comment line you're at)
P.S. When you're checking to see if it'll compile, you have to look at the rest of the code, not just that one line cuz they start assigning different types... be careful!
