I know this board is for Assignment 6, but i'm just too pissed..., did anyone else get burned for "style" ?. wtf, my TA gives me 1/3 for that., ~!!~!~.. was anything mentioned about what was expected of us for the style of how we program?? HELL NO~!, . ,. like they didn't even teach us that S#1T.,., like i'm happy i got my program to compile and run.,. who cares if i used meaningless variable names@!@!#@! ,. i dunno just wanted to get this out of me.,../. anyone else experience similar crap.,.., feel free to add to this.

if you think it's bad now, it gets a heckuva lot worse in higher years... i know it sucks but you gotta get used to it...

Well, they do count (variable names). But the thing they don't acknowledge is that most of us are still grasping this language, style evolves from knowing how to do something and doing it well.
It's like playing a videogame. You can't have a specific playing style if you can barely remember the controls now can you?

that's very understandable... but i guess they want to implement style and learning at the same time...
which is a tad difficult, considering the time constraints
it woulda helped if you took some sort of programming course in high school

i think the reason y they are so tough about variable names and such is to make sure u develop good habits early on, while you're still learning...cause when i started programming, i used arbitrary variable names like a1, a2, a3.... but when u write a project u get soooooo fucked if the names aren't clear...
