1. If ur stuck on a part of the assignment, work on something else and be productive. Hopefully, somebody will figure it out later on, or you will.. If not, at least you have some of it done when the deadline draws near. 2. For Part 2, if u don't know how to make an Iterator w/o using a list (like me), make ur program with a list for now, and if somebody eventually figures it out (or tells us), then u will at least a lot of the coding done, and u'd just have to change a few details. 3. Don't have a nervous breakdown... be calm.

People, please never do this for an assignment. They said to not use a list, don't use a list! People got 5 out of 20 on the first assignment because they violated one of the rules, and I think that was generous since it was the very first assignment. Just think about the problem in a non-programming way. Break it down. Blah blah blah, you've heard this a million times, you know the drill.

besides, don't even need an iterator.

ok, i'm getting somewhere in part 1 now...
u gotta put in some code that might make sense, and then draw memory models for every line in main of T2. that is, a whole different picture for every single line, cuz just one line is already too complicated w/ too many things going on. u can't draw it in pencil and go back and erase and change things, cuz it'll get too confusing. if u lose ur concentration, u gotta start all over again! i had to restart like 4 times before i realized i gotta have separate pictures.
but i'm stuck in an infinite loop right now in my memory model...

in reference to the advice: i meant to work on parts u know how to do first (like the procedure for seeing if something is a tag), not actually submit it as a list. anyway, working on the parts u do know is better than doing nothing at all and sitting there staring blankly just becuz that 1 problem isn't resolved.

If you (and by 'you' I mean whoever is reading this) have to start your program by using a list to get anywhere, I suggest that you: 1. Understand iterator 2. Go to your instructor's office hours. If you have to use a list to start using an iterator, you're defeating the purpose of an iterator. Don't even start the program! Understand what an iterator is.
