so how does the comment tag work?
is it just that every <> with a ! in the first part of it makes everything inside a comment? like this:
<!this is a comment>
so a ! is like a //, where everything after it is a comment?
does this work? <a href="http://google.com" !is this a comment, everything after?>
i also noticed that they usually have <!--comment--> but the -- are not necessary, right; they are just stylistic?

A HTML comment tag starts with "<!--" and ends with "-->" as stated a few times on the course newsgroup. Basically your LinkIterator will return these tags like that and everything in the middle.
Not sure wat you mean by stylistic.
IIRC the newsgroup states taht something like this: is not a comment tag.

The fact that the comment tags can be embedded in other tags, regular tags can be embedded in comment tags (and those should NOT be returned separately) and many, many other difficult combinations make this bonus very, very difficult. It's not worth the headache. I doubt a lot of people will be able to do this.
