anyone know how much emphasis will be placed on the stuff that hasn't been covered on the three term tests? hope it won' tbe like the stats exam, where the whole exam was on stuff learned in the last week of class.

My TA said nothing so today I went to class (I usually don't go) but he said basically nothing either. There's so much material I hope they give us some indication at least. Imagine if the exam is as hard as the tests except now we have ALL the material. And I havent' even done the last three problem sets yet.
Btw, about that stats exam last term, it was nasty IMO, I spent so much time studying earlier stuff and it was a complete waste of time. I think it really ONLY had the last two weeks work on it.

I think that if you look over the old exams it should give you a pretty fair estimate of what types of questions you can expect and how many of them.

So, specifically, what are you guys studying? I've been looking over mostly stuff from chapters 10 and 11 these past few days. I'm gonna review some d/e questions, induction questions, integrals/area/volume, and that's it.

Anyone know where we can get answers for the past exams that are posted on the 137 web site?

Joel said something like 66% of the material is from the 2nd test onwards. I've been going to the Joel sessions, and they help, big time.
I think that older stuff (induction) will be covered via a power series question, like in the problem sets.
I just hope that there's no everyone-got-zero-out-of-15 type of question ala term test 2 and 3....that kinda kills the mood.
