did the profs give any pointers to what will be on the exam? i was coming late to class when my prof was mentioning it.
also, is there any recommended past exam that models our exam the most? (in general, or preferably jepson?)

L0101, Paul Gries - all he said was that it was on everything up to exceptions and a little bit of link lists. I think he means that you just have to understand the concept of LL, which might mean a memory model-type question.
I haven't looked at the past tests yet. That will be done on Wednesday.
What's a jepson?

Jepson explicitly said (and wrote) that Linked Data Structures (including Linked Lists) will not be on the midterm. He said everything we've covered up to and including design by contract.
If other professors are saying different things, does that mean there are different tests? I didn't think so...

but didn't he also say that we have to know about a2..which is actually a linked list? i'm not too sure what he meant by that, b/c if we aren't going to be tested on link list, why would we haveeto know about the linked list in A2? btw..a lot of ppl seems to be from Jepson's class here ;D

i'm not sure if anyone heard this but jepson (a.k.a. mister-printer-brand-name-with-a-j-in-front) said that the tests WILL be different between classes...
i'm not sure if anyone heard it... i think he said this before or after class... (when nobody pays attention)
also, by a2, mr printer probably meant that the concepts pertaining to a2 (general code, tracing code, etc.) not the actual linked list...

Isn't there a piece of particle wood called "jepson"? I'm pretty sure I heard the term "jepson board" on Bob Vila.
Yes, each lecture has a different test.
