alright..,., first off,.., how come ppl doing the same course have different tests?..
i'm in pacheco's class., and i think we didn't do some of the stuff ppl in the other class did..,., our tests are totally different., and yet we hvae the same exam.., ,.,. honestly i think i got an easier prof than the other ppl.,.,..., anyways.. enough blabbing.,.about how stupid UT is.,., cuz this doesn't only happen to CSC108, i'm in ECO with pesando as prof,. and ppl from the other class., have diff textbook diff test date..., but we prob have same exam as well..
on to my question..:
interface?. did the ppl (those not in pacheco's class) do interface?. and if so .,. did your prof say its on the exam?

yah highschool sux too., my highschool did absolutely no java at all.,
ahem.,,. i'm ashamed to say we were taught programming with OOT.,.(object oriented turing).. whoopdidoo~!,.
for those who don't know., ,.Turing was made by UT prof., i think his name is Holt or something.,.,. .,., //.
needless to say the stuff we did with java in this course u can do it in turing. but. its a different language...,., so it was really rough learning java for me.,., / damn highschools.. ,

you think you have it bad...
the only programming my high school did was...:
1st: authority (it's so old, it's sick... it's programming only by a technicality)
2nd: visual basic (it's still sick... it's not REAL programming!)
but alas, coping with the new...

Hmm Lucky you guys .. all I learned was Turing in gr 10 & 11. After that I didn't learn Squat! I learned most of the crap that I'm talking about in UofT... Even though I've managed to sleep / skip through half the CSC classes I've been in  |

hahaha same.,,. i took gr 10, and 11 com sci., then stopped. thinking i was gonna make engine.,., .,.and all UT gave me was mineral engine .., yuck.,,.., i'm gonna be sent to alberta or something to dig for oil ., LOL.,. .,
btw., anyone know when they're offering IT at st.george?..

St. George has it.. it's called Information Systems *shrugs*. What I think St. George needs is more Comptuer Graphics courses  . |

then why are they building a new building on st.george for IT??. . . .,

I thought that's the new Comptuer Science Building... Since the Com Sci students are just shoved in the random places on campus at the moment. If you ever go to The Engineering Anex and look at the labs it's pretty ugly ... So that new building is mainly for Com Sci, not just IS. |

Come on people I was taught OOT on those Mac G2s that came out in the early 80s! I would easily have taken VB but the Macs could barely function and the school had no money...
