"Don't forget the header information and the closing tags at the end of the file". So, is this what it means? ex) myfile.html <html> <head> <title></title> </head> <body> <a href="blahblah.com">titleblah</a> <etc ... insert all URLS from URLList here> <.....> <.....> </body> </html>
Is that all that is required in myfile.html? Some clarification for the write command, please!

this is my understanding: ur supposed to do all that but put the links as unnumbered list items, like in the sample example in the handout, and in the sample html file, i.e., using <ul></ul> and <li></li>.
correct me anyone if i'm wrong.

My prof said that the <ul></ul><li></li> thing is needed and the output file does not need to be indented ..

Helloooo .... they say no indentation right ... i know what that means.. but can we write it all as one line without spaces?
ie. <html><header></header><body>.........</body></ html>?
or does it have to be line by line? <html> <header> ...

I did <html> <header> ...blah.... works both ways, since it doesnt affect the html code but i'd say they probably prefer an easier to read file.

I have the exact same problem...notice if you copy/paste it appears normal! Strange must be XP because I tried looking at it in notepad and got these strange boxes instead of carrige returns...but if I went to command prompt and checked the file under edit it looks fine! Go figure...

these \n are like commands, thats why they appear to be "boxes" in notepad, i think u guys should change it so it prints lines separately like: println("<html>"); ... println("</html>");

arghhh i didn't know if my output was acceptable cuz it looks like one big line., its actually not win XP., cuz i tried it on win ME as well., and even after making the html file sending it to my friend to view the source code., he says its still one big line and he's using win98.,. so i took the time to change my program and made it return enumerations instead,.., .,. now it works fine.,.,. when u return enumerations., from URLList .,., u practically don't hafta test the List command at all in your tester class
